A few places to see when in Rotterdam
Rotterdam is the second largest city in the Netherlands. Although it’s history reaches back to the 13th century, it is one of the most modern cities in the Netherlands.
Markthall
You will find a covered market hall in more world cities, but due to the combination with homes, Rotterdam has a world first. The apartments are draped in a horseshoe shape over the fresh market.
Cube Houses
The Cube Houses (Piet Blom, 1978-1984) are part of the Blaakse Bos (Blaakse Wood) development which borders on the Laurenskwartier district and the Waterfront area.
Erasmus Bridge
The 800 meter long Erasmus Bridge is the connection between the northern and southern parts of Rotterdam. The bridge crosses the Maas river and is a true landmark.
Euromast

Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen is the world’s first publicly accessible art storage facility. Visitors can see the result of 174 years of collecting. More than 154,000 objects housed together, arranged in fourteen storage compartments with five different climates.
